Summer Camp

We offer an exciting and enriching summer camp experience where children can explore, learn, and grow. Our carefully structured activities, from outdoor play to the creative arts, are designed to engage kids and help them build new skills while having fun. With a focus on inclusivity and support, our low staff-to-child ratios ensure that every child receives personalized attention.

The Summer 2025 Camp will be held during the following weeks:

Week 1: June 2-6

"Minecraft Building Block Basics – Introduction to STEM"
STEM Focus: Geometry and Structures
Focus: Campers will learn about basic shapes, angles, and geometry through building simple structures in Minecraft. They'll explore how engineers use these concepts to design buildings in the real world.

Week 2: June 9-13

"Minecraft Transportation – Building and Designing Vehicles"; Minecraft Robotics – Moving Parts and Machines"
STEM Focus:

Campers will design cars, planes, and boats in Minecraft while exploring land, air, and sea transportation systems. They'll learn basic engineering, propulsion, and vehicle dynamics along the way. Campers will also build simple robots and mechanical devices, discovering key concepts in robotics and automation. It’s a fun, hands-on way to dive into engineering and technology!

Week 3: June 16-18 and 20

Closed on June 19 (Juneteenth Holiday)

"Minecraft Engineering – Building with Circuits"
STEM Focus: Electricity and Circuitry
Focus: Kids will dive into the world of Minecraft, creating circuits and learning basic electrical engineering principles, such as how electrical systems work in real life. They’ll explore logic gates, switches, and powering devices in a fun, hands-on way.

Week 4: July 7-11

"The Music of Minecraft – Composing and Soundscapes"
STEM Focus: Music Theory, Sound Design, and Composition

Focus: This week, campers will explore the captivating world of Minecraft's music and sound design. They'll dive into the fundamentals of music theory, including rhythm, melody, and harmony, and experiment with how different sounds impact emotions and gameplay. Whether it's crafting peaceful melodies for a village or dramatic scores for a dungeon, this week will inspire creativity and introduce kids to the art of musical composition and sound design in the Minecraft world!

Week 5: July 21-25

"Minecraft Chemistry – Potions and Reactions"
STEM Focus: Chemistry, Reactions, and Mixtures
Focus: Campers will learn about chemistry through Minecraft’s potion-making system, experimenting with different ingredients and creating potions with various effects. They'll explore the science behind chemical reactions, mixtures, and solutions, and gain a basic understanding of how chemical engineering plays a role in everyday life. They’ll also discover how Minecraft mirrors some real-world chemical processes.
