Camp Summer Garden (CSG Afterschool)
Extra Support When Your Child Needs It
Camp Summer Garden is especially supportive for children who:
- Have autism or developmental differences
- Experience speech or language delays
- Struggle with transitions or group settings
- Need help with social or emotional skills
- Thrive in smaller groups
- Benefit from additional adult support
Social Skills Development
Every day, we watch our kids practice the kind of social skills that shape who they become: kindness, teamwork, confidence, and the courage to try again. They learn how to communicate, how to collaborate, and how to build friendships that make them feel seen and valued. Watching them learn how to navigate friendships, express themselves, and support one another is one of the most beautiful parts of CSG.
Literacy Support
At our program, early literacy isn’t just an activity on the schedule. It’s a pillar that supports every part of a child’s growth. From story time to playful conversations, we intentionally build language and literacy into each day.
STEM Development
When children design, stack, test, and rebuild, they’re developing early engineering skills, strengthening spatial awareness, and learning how to think like innovators.
Whether they’re constructing towers, experimenting with materials, or collaborating on big ideas, we love watching their confidence grow as they discover what they can create. STEM learning starts with curiosity, and our kids bring that spark every single day.
Play-Based Learning
Play is more than fun. It's an opportunity to practice real‑life skills:
- Building self‑control
- Strengthening listening and communication skills
- Developing patience and emotional regulation
- Practicing cooperation, turn‑taking, and cheering others on
CSG Afterschool Program
In our afterschool program, children enjoy:'
- Homework support without pressure
- Small-group social activities
- Creative projects and STEM exploration
- Literacy enrichment
- Outdoor play and calming moments
Scholarships are available for qualifying families.
Includes an afternoon snack or meal.
Children who participated in our Summer Camp are automatically eligible to attend at no cost.
