Hours: 9am-3pm
Extended Care: 8am-9am; 3pm-6pm
(Limited Spots Available)
Cost-Discounted Rate: $200 per week (without); $250 (with) Extended Care
Scholarships available for eligible families in Leon County (Scholarships provided by the Leon Children's Services Council)
Must register for all 6 weeks to receive the scholarship.

Our Summer Camp
Camp Summer Garden offers a dynamic and inclusive summer camp experience designed to support every child’s growth, confidence, and creativity. Our program blends STEM exploration, social skills development, outdoor play, and creative arts to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences where children can explore, learn, and thrive.
We intentionally design our activities to build academic, social, and emotional skills through hands-on projects, collaborative play, and guided exploration. With low staff-to-child ratios and a nurturing environment, each child receives individualized attention, encouragement, and support.
Camp Summer Garden is especially supportive for children who:
- Have autism or developmental differences
- Experience speech or language delays
- Struggle with transitions or group settings
- Need support with social or emotional skills
- Thrive in smaller groups
- Benefit from additional adult guidance
Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where every child feels understood, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace and in their own way.
Week 1: June 1-5-Minecraft Building Block Basics – Introduction to STEM
STEM Focus: Geometry and Structures
Focus:
Campers will learn about basic shapes, angles, and geometry by building simple structures in Minecraft. They will explore how engineers use these concepts to design buildings in the real world.
Week 2: June 8-12-Minecraft Transportation; Building and Designing Vehicles Minecraft Robotics; Moving Parts and Machines
STEM Focus: Engineering, Mechanics, and Automation
Focus:
Campers will design cars, planes, and boats in Minecraft while exploring land, air, and sea transportation systems. They will learn basic engineering concepts, propulsion, and vehicle dynamics. Campers will also build simple robots and mechanical devices, discovering key ideas in robotics and automation through hands-on learning.
Week 3: June 15-18- Minecraft Engineering-Building with Circuits
STEM Focus: Electrical Engineering and Problem-Solving
Focus:
Campers will explore circuits and redstone in Minecraft to design interactive structures and systems. They will learn how circuits power real-world devices and develop problem-solving skills through creative engineering challenges.
Week 4: July 13-17-The Music of Minecraft-Composing and Soundscapes
STEM Focus: Music Theory, Sound Design, and Composition
Focus:
Campers will explore the world of Minecraft music and sound design. They will learn the fundamentals of rhythm, melody, and harmony and experiment with how sound affects emotions and gameplay. Campers will create their own compositions and discover how music and technology intersect.
Week 5: July 20-24-Minecraft Chemistry-Potions and Reactions
STEM Focus: Chemistry, Reactions, and Mixtures
Focus:
Campers will learn about chemistry through Minecraft’s potion-making system by experimenting with ingredients and observing reactions. They will explore real-world chemical processes, mixtures, and solutions, gaining a foundational understanding of how chemistry connects to everyday life.
Week 6: July 27-31-Integrated STEM and Problem Solving
STEM Focus: Integrated STEM and Problem-Solving
Focus:
Campers will explore a variety of STEM concepts introduced throughout the summer, including building, engineering, music, and chemistry. This week is designed to be engaging for both returning and new campers, with hands-on Minecraft challenges and collaborative projects that promote creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. Campers will reflect on their learning, create final projects, and celebrate their growth in STEM and social skills.
